hi ill like to know if its 100% chance to salvage a rune from your own armor. if it isnt, will it be 100% if u get a friend to do it for you?

No, it isn't 100%. I typically get about a 50% success rate, give or take, but I don't know if there's an official number on that one. Once I managed to get all my runes back, but usually I get about half of them. It's pretty unfortunate, but that's life.

As for your friend doing it, I've never tried that so I wouldn't know for sure. I don't see what difference that would make, though.

Personally I have been really lucky with runes. But there is always a chance you will mess it up. You freind will not have any more luck then you.

I've salvaged arround 90% of all my character runes.

So far I've salvaged two sets of armor and got 3/5 both times. My friend got all 5 out of his. It's pretty random.

the percentage of salvaging a rune from ur own armor depends on the quality of ur armor (its armor level basically) the rune, and the amount of uses left in ur salvage kit. for example, if u were to extract a minor rune from armor with 80 AL using an expert salvage kit with 8 uses left, then you would use rune # (minor=1) times the AL (80) divided by the uses left in ur salvage kit (8), therefore giving you the percentage of 10% chance of salvaging the rune

I've never heard this before. Where did you get this information?
Is there really a difference in chance depending on your salvage kit use?

Platinum Agent MIGHT, and I stress MIGHT, be onto something. I've only ever bothered salvaging runes out of two sets of armor. Minor runes aren't even worth it I just sell the armor to the merchent. But I had a set of LA Armor with Major Divine, Healing, Protection, and a Superior Smite, Major Vigor. So I wanted to salvage them out. I bought a new Expert Salvage kit, as I didn't have one, and I salvaged 5/5.

For my ranger I purchased a set of drokner druid armor and salvage 5/5 runes out of my druid armor from Druids Overlook....again I had just purchased a new Expert Salvage Kit..

ofcourse it could just be that the world loves the Irish....but it may be worth testing.
